A New Generation Rises: Unveiling the Future of the One New Zealand Warriors
The upcoming Preseason Challenge against Manly Warringah is a thrilling glimpse into the future of the Warriors, showcasing the club's talented newcomers alongside seasoned veterans.
Last year, hooker Sam Healey, prop Tanner Stowers-Smith, and back rower Eddie Ieremia-Toeava were unknown quantities, yet they've since proven their mettle as bona fide first graders. Their journey highlights the effectiveness of the Warriors' pathways system, which has produced an impressive roster of young talent.

One standout is Luke Hanson, a standoff who's made significant strides since his time with Penrith's development team. He's joined by Motu Pasikala, an exciting prospect replacing Roger Tuivasa-Sheck on the wing, and a host of local talents ready to make their mark.
Among them is Kayliss Fatialofa, an exciting second rower who impressed in the Warriors' 2025 campaign. He's joined by Canterbury-raised hooker Makaia Tafua, prop Rodney Tuipulotu-Vea, and other promising youngsters.
