Guess what? Soft AC is back on the airwaves! Acadia Broadcasting has decided to bring back "Sunny 95.1" on 1450 KSIG/95.1 K236CW in Crowley, Louisiana, after a hiatus of almost three years. This is exciting news for fans of easy-listening music!
This isn't the first time "Sunny 95.1" has graced the air. It previously entertained listeners with its "Relaxing Lite Favorites with the Variety You Crave" from October 2018 until April 2023. Then, the station switched gears to become "Freedom," playing Classic Country music, a brand that had previously been on 106.7 KPCZ-FM.
But here's where it gets interesting: KSIG serves the area west of Lafayette, Louisiana. According to the Fall 2025 Nielsen Audio ratings, the station held a 0.4 share. This shows that even though the station has been off the air for a while, it still has potential to regain its audience.
